1. About Infoquest
Infoquest connects organizations (“Clients”) with industry professionals (“Experts”) who provide insights, opinions, or consulting services. We facilitate introductions and manage engagements but are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or outcomes of any expert consultation.
2. Eligibility
By using our Services, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 18 years old
- Have the authority to enter into legally binding agreements
- Will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
If you register on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
3. Use of the Site and Services
You agree to use the Site and Services only for lawful and legitimate purposes.
You may not:
- Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or affiliations
- Use our Services to obtain confidential or inside information
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers
- Copy, scrape, or reproduce any part of our content or database
- Use the platform to solicit, hire, or compete with Infoquest outside approved channels
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account or access for violations of these Terms.
4. Expert Engagements
When engaging with Experts:
- Experts act as independent contractors, not employees of Infoquest
- Infoquest facilitates introductions, scheduling, and payments but does not supervise or guarantee expert performance
- Experts must comply with all confidentiality, non-disclosure, and conflict-of-interest obligations under their agreements
- Clients are responsible for ensuring they do not solicit or receive information that breaches any third-party duty or law
All communications between Clients and Experts must occur through approved Infoquest channels unless expressly authorized in writing.
5. Confidentiality
Both Clients and Experts must:
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all non-public, proprietary, or sensitive information shared during or after a project
- Not disclose, reproduce, or distribute such information to any third party without prior written consent
Infoquest may record, transcribe, or store consultations for compliance and quality purposes, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including text, design, graphics, logos, icons, and software — is the property of Infoquest or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any portion of the Site without prior written consent.
Experts retain rights to their personal knowledge and experience but grant Infoquest a license to use anonymized, non-identifiable insights for quality control, analytics, and marketing materials.
7. Payments
All payments between Clients, Experts, and Infoquest are governed by separate agreements or invoices.
- Clients agree to pay fees as specified in their engagement terms
- Experts will be compensated as agreed upon in writing
- Infoquest reserves the right to withhold payment in case of violation of agreements or false representation
8. Disclaimers
The Services and content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Infoquest does not warrant that the Site or Services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for your particular purpose.
Insights shared by Experts are opinions, not advice, and Infoquest disclaims any responsibility for decisions made based on such information.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Infoquest, its affiliates, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Services
- Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by you (if any) to Infoquest in the preceding twelve (12) months
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Infoquest, its officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
11. Modifications
We may modify or update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on our Site. Continued use of the Site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
